What are the system requirements
for installing Photo2Album? |

Autorun doesn't work on my computer!
How can I install Photo2Album? |
|

If
Autorun doesn't work on your computer, you can right-click
on the Drive containing the CD, choose "Open" and double-click
"Setup.exe" to run the Installation Program.
Alternatively, you can also select the "Run..." option
of the "Start" menu and type: D:\Setup.exe, replacing
D: with your CD-ROM drive.

Where is the Product Key? |

You can
find the Product Key on the back of the enclosed CD pack.

Do I need to register the software
in AvailaSoft Website? |

For your
convenience, the completed Product Registration Form in
the installation process will be automatically sent to
our Online Product Registration Center for product registration
when the Internet is connected.
The "Product Registration" section of our website is for
special customers only, you don't need to use it unless
you are instructed by our staff to do so.

I can't run "General Tutorial" of
Photo2Album. What should I do? |

Since Macromedia Flash Player is not
installed on your computer, you may have problem with
running "General Tutorial". Please note that over 90%
of computers are already installed with Macromedia Flash
Player. Please go to http://www.macromedia.com
to download the latest Macromedia Flash Player.

What is the use of "Photo Organizer"?
|
|

"Photo
Organizer" is a folder used for keeping your general photos
(*.jpg) for centralized management and processing. The
operation of "Photo Organizer" is similar to that of a
folder in Windows. In Photo2Album, you will mainly use
"Photo Organizer" for handling most of your photos.
|

What is the use of "Photo Protector"? |
|
| |
"Photo Protector" is a password-protected folder used
for keeping your private and secret photos (*.jpg) for
centralized management. You can create folders in "Photo
Protector" Then you can move your private and secret photos
to these folders.
By logging
out "Photo Protector"
all photos (*.jpg) of "Photo Protector"
will be encrypted. You can hide "Photo Protector"
for better privacy protection. Without entering correct
User Name and Password, no one can open it.

What is the use of "Background Music"?
|

"Background
Music"
is a folder used for keeping your music files (*.mp3,
*.wma, *.mid) that can be played during viewing photos
(from Album View, Email-Sized Photo Album, Autorun Photo
Album CD or Photo Album File).
|

|
Photo Protector is hidden now. How
can I unhide it? |
|

When you
want to show it again, you can right-click on the empty
(blank) area of the "Folder-Album"
section and choose "Unhide Photo Protector"
on the right-click menu.
|

|
How can I decrypt the encrypted photo
files (*.ejp) created by "Photo Protector" of Photo2Album? |
|
| |
For security purpose, you need to re-install Photo2Album,
set the same User Name and the same Login Password for
"Photo Protector" and then copy these encrypted photo
files (*.ejp) to "Photo Protector" for decrypting them.
For system stability, you can ONLY copy *.ejp files
to "Photo Protector" by right-clicking selected *.ejp
files to choose "Copy to Photo Protector" on right-click
menu.
Note: "Copy to Photo Protector" function for *.ejp files
will work ONLY when Photo Protector is in LOGOUT state.

What is the use of "Index" numbers
for photos in Photo2Album? |
|

All photo files in Photo2Album are auto-indexed and
arranged. The viewing sequence of photos of an album (from
Album View, Email-Sized Photo Album, Autorun Photo Album
CD or Photo Album File) is based on their respective "Index"
numbers.
To set your preferred viewing sequence for photos of an
album, you just need to drag photos to different positions
to rearrange their "Index" numbers.

How can I rearrange "Index" numbers
of my photos in Photo2Album? |

You can drag a photo up and down to another position
to rearrange its "Index" number. You can also select several
photos and drag them to another position to rearrange
their "Index" numbers altogether. In this way, you can
set your preferred viewing sequence for photos of an album
efficiently and effectively.

What is the use of Album View? |
|
| |
Album View allows you to enjoy viewing photos of each
Photo Album in your preferred sequence. By moving your
photos into different subfolders, different Photo Albums
can be created. Then you can set your preferred viewing
sequence for photos of each album by rearranging their
"Index" numbers.
You can drag a photo up and down to another position to
rearrange its "Index" number. You can also select several
photos and drag them to another position to rearrange
their "Index" numbers altogether. In this way, you can
set your preferred viewing sequence for photos of an album
efficiently and effectively.

Why can't I attach Email-Sized Photo
Album to my email? |

Some email systems have very strict scanning requirements
for attachments that may reject Email-Sized Photo Album.
With our engineering team's effort. the latest Photo2Album
creates Email-Sized Photo Albums in simplified format
that can pass the scanning requirements of all public
email systems (including hotmail) and most corporate
email systems.
If you are using the previous version of Photo2Album,
please uninstall it and install the new one. You can email

Why can't the recipient get my email
attached with Email-Sized Photo Album? |

Why can't I create Email-Sized
Photo Album with 100 photos in 1MB space? |
|

To create
Email-Sized Photo Album of smaller file size, you need
to select smaller Album Size and higher compression on
the dialog, "Create: Email-Sized Photo Album". If it still
cannot produce Email-Sized Photo Album with 100 photos
in 1MB space, you can choose the smallest Album Size (350x260)
and the highest compression on the dialog, "Create: Email-Sized
Photo Album".
Note that most *.mp3 and *.wma music files are around
3MB while most *.mid music files are around 20KB. Adding
*.mp3 or *.wma music file to Email-Sized Photo Album will
greatly increase its file size.

Why can't I create Photo VCD with
Background Music? |

For system
stability, Background Music will not be added to Photo
VCD.

Why doesn't Photo VCD show 3D Page-Flipping
Effect? |

For system
stability, 3D Page-Flipping Effect will not be shown on
Photo VCD.

Can I encrypt the photo album before
sending the file to friends/customers? |

Yes! On
the dialog of "Create: Autorun Photo Album CD" or "Create:
Photo Album File", you can press [Add passwords and Description]
button to create the encrypted photo album.

What is the difference between Autorun
Photo Album CD and Photo Album File? |

Autorun
Photo Album CD will show only one Photo Album on a single
CD. By creating Photo Album Files and writing them on
a single CD, you can have multiple photo albums on a single
CD.

Can I use my Edited Album Page(s)
for creating Screen Saver or Wallpaper? |
|

Yes! On
the dialog of "Create: Magic Screen Saver" or "Create:
Wonderful Wallpaper", you can select Album Pages for creating
Screen Saver or Wallpaper.

How can I copy a photo or an image
as the background pattern for Cover Page of a Photo Album? |

Yes! You
can select a region first and then keep pressing "Shift"
to select and add another region to the previous region.
You can also select a region first and then keep pressing
"Ctrl" to select and remove a region from the previous
region.

How can I effectively remove red
eye problems or wrinkles from a photo? |

You can
use [Zoom In] and [Free Form] buttons to magnify and select
the region containing red eye problems or wrinkles accurately.
Then you can press [Remove Red Eye] or [Remove Wrinkles]
button.

Will the original photo file be affected
when I edit the Album Page of the photo? |
|

Photo2Album
Image Editor is used for editing Photos (*.jpg) and Album
Pages (*.p2a) of Photo2Album. In Photo2Album, Photo is
saved as *.jpg format and its corresponding Album Page
is saved as *.p2a format.
By using Photo2Album Image Editor, you can edit a Photo
(*.jpg) or its Album Page (*.p2a) independently. Since
editing an Album Page is equivalent to editing another
file, editing a photo on its corresponding Album Page
will not affect the original photo file. So you can enjoy
viewing your edited Album Pages without affecting the
original photo files.

How can I restore the edited Album
Page to its original Setting? |

You can
restore the edited Album Page to its original Setting
by just pressing [Undo All] button in Photo2Album Image
Editor.

How can I edit a Photo or an Album
Page by Photo2Album Image Editor? |
|

To edit
a Photo by Photo2Album Image Editor, you can (1) double-click
"Photo Preview" on "Display Panel" or (2) select the photo
on the "File Management" section and then press "Edit"
button on "Function Bar".
To edit an Album Page by Photo2Album Image Editor, you
can (1) double-click "Album Page Preview" on "Display
Panel" or (2) press "Edit" button on "Album View".

The displayed colors of the interface
of Photo2Album are poor in my computer. What should
I do? |

The recommended display setting for Photo2Album is 16-bit
or above. You can right-click on empty area of your Desktop,
choose "Properties" on right-click menu, select "Setting"
subject and set "Colors" to be 16-bit or above on the
"Settings" dialog.

After editing a photo file in Photo2Album by a default program and saving it, the
displayed photo and its information is not updated on
the interface of Photo2Album. What should I do? |

Since Photo2Album may not detect the updated photo file
done by other programs, you can press "Refresh" button
to refresh the interface of Photo2Album.

Why can't Photo2Album process
image files of format *.tif, *.gif and *.bmp? |
|

The vast
majority of photo files are in *.jpg or *.jpeg format.
Photo2Album provides you with an efficient and effective
platform to manage millions of your photos. To avoid any
confusion and ensure program stability, only photo files
of *.jpg format and music files of (*.mp3, *.wma, *.mid)
format are allowed to be passed to Photo2Album for processing.
